Welcome to Toro Sushi Bento, located at 2210 W Main St, Battle Ground, WA 98604, United States — where fresh flavors and casual vibe meet every sushi enthusiast’s dream. Founded by passionate local chefs who bring a deep love for Japanese cuisine into every dish, Toro Sushi Bento began with a simple mission: to offer authentic sushi bento boxes, rolls, and nigiri in a comfortable, friendly setting. With years of experience in Japanese kitchens and dedicated training in traditional techniques, the team behind this spot brings real expertise to the table. Guests often remark on how quickly the chefs switch from rice prep to seafood slicing, showing clear mastery in their craft.
Inside Toro Sushi Bento you'll immediately feel the laid-back rhythm of a neighborhood favorite. The space features simple modern décor, warm lighting, and family-friendly seating — the kind of place you can stop by after work or bring your kids for a relaxed dinner. On one visit, we ordered a sashimi plate for two and watched as sushi rolls were assembled right in front of us — the clean counter, the steady hands of the chef, the quiet hum of conversation — all signs of a restaurant that takes pride in process. From ordering to plating to serving, the sequence feels smooth and personal.
Now, about the food: this isn’t just your typical sushi spot. Highlights include the bento toro sushi boxes — hearty combinations where you’ll find sushi rolls, nigiri, sides like tempura or pickled veggies, plus rice and miso soup. If you’re browsing the bento toro sushi menu, you’ll also spot standout items like the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna and avocado, and the Hamachi (Yellowtail) nigiri that many guests raved about. Regulars highlight how fresh the fish is (“very fresh and mostly made on the spot”). A common favorite is the Aloha Roll, generous in size and creativity — exactly the kind of thing you want when comparing sushi bento battle ground options. For those looking for alternative fare, Toro also offers donburi bowls, udon or ramen and light vegetarian plates, showing depth in the menu beyond just rolls.
Customer reviews shine a light on the friendly service and consistent quality. People say the staff treat regulars by name, and despite how busy it gets around lunch or dinner, the team keeps things moving without sacrificing care. One reviewer wrote “the service was remarkable, food was awesome, very clean and nice inside!”, another emphasized “fresh and lots of options… great customer service if you dine in.” Plenty of families grab take-out too — the bento boxes travel well and are perfect for home-style dinner nights.
Menu and services are described at length in their dedicated section: to see full information about the menu, please scroll down. You’ll find dine-in, take-out, delivery, and even catering options for larger gatherings. Whether it’s a quick solo lunch or a weekend dinner with friends, the versatility is a strong plus.
Expertise shines in the sourcing of ingredients and execution of each plate — the chefs explain the importance of rice texture, fish temperature, and plating balance. While not a formal treatise, the attention to detail puts them a cut above everyday sushi-spots in the area. Of course, there’s only so much transparency about their supply chain, and it’s not publicly audited in every respect; but customer reliability and consistent freshness speak volumes. Some menu changes may happen based on fish availability — nothing hidden, just sensible professional practice.
In sum, Toro Sushi Bento is a standout among sushi bento options in Battle Ground thanks to its combination of flavor-forward sushi, solid bento boxes, welcoming ambiance and friendly, efficient service.

Great option in north county for sushi. Fresh and lots of options. I like the yellow tail hamachi nigiri and the Aloha Roll. Great customer service if you dine in. Clean, quaint restaurant, and family friendly.
Excellent place to visit. Service was remarkable, food was awesome, very clean and nice inside! Definitely recommend and will be back!
a fantastic dining experience with its fresh, expertly crafted sushi, they present it so well. The modern yet cozy ambiance adds to the enjoyment, and the attentive service ensures a memorable meal. I got the Volcano Roll and it was so amazing, also the rainbow roll was so good!
We now have two sushi places in town... nothing bad about the others but they don't offer simple rolls like I like. Toro does. I'll be back!
Definitely the place to go for some great, local sushi! The vibe is pretty chill and the staff are super nice. Food comes out pretty quickly and tastes amazing! There's lots to order such as bento boxes, ramen, and udon, along with their general sushi (of which the have a big selection). My favorite restaurant in the Battle Ground area, personally, despite their odd hours (it's easy to get the hang of).
